About Doe Culture

A story of motherhood, heritage, and the simple joy of sharing real bread with the people we love.

At Doe Culture, every loaf starts in a busy, love-filled kitchen in Phoenix, Arizona, where I'm juggling wild sourdough starters, school runs, and snack requests from my two little ones, Bodhi and Capri. I'm TJ, the mama and baker behind Doe Culture, and this micro bakery is my way of feeding the people I love and the community I care so deeply about.

"Bread has always been my love language."

Growing up with family roots in Puerto Rico and spending years traveling and living in places like Florida and now Arizona, I've seen how a simple loaf on the table can instantly make you feel at home. Good bread doesn't just fill you up—it slows you down, gathers people together, and turns everyday moments into something worth savoring.

Made with Love

Each loaf is mixed, shaped, and baked in small batches with the same intention I bring to my own family's table.

Heritage & Community

As a Spanish-speaking Puerto Rican mama, community is everything to me. En inglés o en español.

Each Doe Culture loaf is mixed, shaped, and baked in small batches with the same intention I bring to my own family's table: real ingredients, long fermentation, and a whole lot of patience and care. From the first bubbly starter to the final crackle of the crust, I'm thinking about how this bread will be torn, shared, and remembered.

As an ASU grad and a Spanish-speaking Puerto Rican mama, community is everything to me. Whether you're a longtime bread lover or placing your very first order, I want you to feel seen and welcome here—en inglés o en español. If you ever need help with your order in Spanish, I'm just a message away.

Doe Culture is more than a bakery; it's a quiet little corner of the world where motherhood, heritage, travel, and craft all meet in a warm loaf of bread. From my hands to your table, thank you for inviting my bread into your home and for supporting this tiny, heartfelt dream of mine.

I can't wait to bake for you.
